Getting Started at Saint James Tennis Club
Everything at SJTC — court time, clinics, junior programs, match play, and league events — runs through a system called CourtReserve. If you've never used it before, you're in the right place. Setting up takes about five minutes, and once you're in, signing up for anything we offer is a couple of taps.
Work through the three steps below in order. Each one links to CourtReserve's own help article if you'd like to follow along with pictures.
STEP 1 — CREATE YOUR FREE ACCOUNT
You can set up your account on your phone or on a computer. We recommend the phone app — it's what most members end up using day to day.
On your phone (recommended)
Download the free CourtReserve app from the Apple App Store or Google Play. Open it, enter your email address, and tap Get Started to create a new account. You'll choose a password, then search for our club — type in the first several letters of the name and select Saint James Tennis Club from the list. From there you'll fill in a few details about yourself, choose your membership option (the default is a free account called “Visitor/Non-Paid Member”, and review a short summary before finishing.
On a computer
Go to this link and follow the same prompts.

Adding your family. If you're registering children for junior programs, add them to your account as family members rather than creating separate logins. That way you can register everyone from one place.
STEP 2 — ADD A PAYMENT METHOD
CourtReserve calls this a payment profile. It tells the system where to send charges for court time, clinics, programs, and dues. You'll want this in place before you try to register for anything, since most sign-ups ask for payment at the time of booking.
On a computer: log in, click your name in the top-right corner, choose Payment Profiles, then click Create Payment Profile, fill in your card or bank details, and save.
On your phone: the same option lives in your profile menu.
You can save more than one payment method. If you save several, use Set Preferred to tell CourtReserve which one to use by default. One thing worth knowing: a saved payment profile can't be edited after the fact — if your card changes, delete the old profile and add a new one.

STEP 3 — REGISTER FOR PROGRAMS AND EVENTS
Our clinics, junior sessions, match play, and social events all live under Programs & Events in CourtReserve.
From the main menu, tap or click Programs & Events. You can browse by List, Categories, or Calendar, whichever you find easiest, and filter by category, tag, or instructor to narrow things down. For anything that runs on a repeating schedule, View Upcoming Dates shows you the full run of sessions. When you find what you want, click Register.
After you've signed up, you can find your registrations under Programs & Events > My Programs & Events, or by clicking your name and choosing My Bookings. That's also where you'd go to edit a registration or withdraw, where our policies allow it.

RESERVING A COURT
Court bookings work much the same way, under Reservations rather than Events. Availability depends on how far ahead our booking window opens, so if a date isn't showing yet, it likely hasn't opened for reservations.

IF SOMETHING ISN'T WORKING
Most hiccups are small and quick to sort out.
You can't log in. Your login email has to match the one we have on file for you. If you're not sure which address we have, give us a call before resetting anything. If the email is right, use Forgot Password on the login screen.
You can't find a friend's name when adding them to a booking. The search box shows only the first several matches alphabetically, so try searching by last name. Only members of our club will appear.
You're getting an error when booking doubles. Some reservation types require every player to be listed before the booking will save — two players for singles, four for doubles.
You want to see what you've been charged. Your billing history, packages, and invoices are all under Billing in the app or portal.

STILL STUCK?
Reach out and we'll walk you through it. We'd much rather spend two minutes on the phone with you than have you miss a clinic over a login screen.
